Use expansion opens a searchable list of every expansion of the game, where you can tick several at once.
2
Add the players
You’re added already. In Add a friend, guest or start typing a name, pick friends and people you’ve played with before, or type a name:
- Create Guest Identity saves the name, so you can pick that person again next time.
- Guest adds someone without saving them. Anything you typed becomes a note on that guest.

Check the score template
Score template shows a short summary of how the game is scored, such as “Scoring sheet · highest score wins · 6 rows”. It’s the one you used last time for this game or, if you haven’t played it before, the most popular one shared by the community. Open it to change anything or to Browse templates. If there’s nothing to start from, it’s already open so you can set it up. See Scoring and results.

Start playing
Session shows where the game goes, such as Add to your session from 18:00. Use Change to pick New session instead, and add the place and notes of the session. Press Start playing and the timer runs.
During the game
The game’s page is your scoreboard:- Enter the scores as you go, in the way the game is scored: one score per player, a score per round, or a row per category. The player in the lead gets a trophy.
- Fill in what the game asks for each player, such as a faction.
- Write Notes about the game.
- The timer shows whether you’re Playing or Paused, with the time of this session and the total, such as “12 min this session | 1 h 5 min in total”. Use Pause and Continue for breaks. It keeps running if you close the app.
- Edit opens the full form to change the game, the expansions, the players or the scoring.
- Mark as unfinished stops a game you won’t finish.
- Leave this play and Delete for everyone.
Finish
Press Finish play when the game is over. The win screen shows who won, worked out from the scores, including ties. A player without a score is left out when the winner is worked out, because a missing score isn’t a zero. On the win screen you can:- pick the winner when the scores can’t decide: in a win or lose game, the winning team, or All won or All lost in a co-op game;
- pick the winner of a tie that was broken by a tiebreaker, or choose Keep as tied;
- under Anything to add?, fill in scores that are missing, set each player’s team and fill in the extra fields, such as a faction or how someone died;
- write notes about the game;
- tick Share this template publicly to let others use your scoring. See Share your scoring.
- Rematch starts the same game again straight away, with the same players, teams and scoring.
- Play another game picks a new game for the same players.
Stop for today
Not finished, but done for the evening? Press Pause and leave it. The game stays under In progress on the Play History page. Next time, open it and press Continue. See Continue another day.Add a game to an earlier session
To log a game you already played, open the session it belongs to and choose Add play to session. If the session started more than 12 hours ago, the game is logged as already played: pick the game and the players, enter the scores and results, and how long you played.For now, a game you already played can only be added to a session that exists. Logging past games on any date, and importing your play history from BoardGameGeek, are coming soon.
Change or remove a play
Only the person who logged a play can change it. Open the play and use the ⋮ menu.- Edit fixes anything: the game, expansions, players, scores, results, scoring, notes, and the time played in each session. You can also move the play to another session there. If you change the scores, the result is worked out again. Results you changed by hand stay, unless you agree to replace them.
- Mark as unfinished ends a game you won’t finish. Its time still counts, but nobody wins. Use Reopen if you pick it up again after all.
- Delete for everyone removes the play from every session it was in. You’re warned first if it was played over several sessions.
