Search is the heart of Kallax.io. Use it to explore more than a million games, look through your own collection, or find out which of your friends owns a game. Open Search from the main menu.

Search by title

Start typing in Search by game title. Results update as you type. By default, logged-in users search their own collection. Click Collections to change which shelves you are searching:
  • Your friends and the communities you belong to appear as chips.
  • Click a chip once to search in that collection (it turns blue).
  • Click it again to exclude it (it turns red and is marked NOT). Games in that collection are hidden. This is handy for finding games nobody at the table has played yet.
  • Click a third time to clear it.
  • Select several chips to search multiple collections at once.
  • Clear all chips to search the entire Database of games.
Use Add Friends at the end of the list to add more people to search. See Friends.

Filters

Each filter button opens a panel. Combine as many as you like. Suggested mechanics, categories, designers and artists are based on your current results. Click Show More to see the full list.

Sort results

Use the ordering button to sort by popularity, title, player count, playtime or complexity, in either direction.

Can’t decide? Pick a random game

Click Pick and Kallax.io chooses a random game from your current results. Great for game night indecision. Your filters and selected collections are saved in the page address. Copy the link from your browser and send it to friends and family: they see the same results and can browse your collection, no account required. Every result has a menu for adding the game to your collection. Use the ⋮ menu on a game to add it to a specific folder, add an extra copy, or open the game’s details. See Your collection.

No results?

If nothing matches, try removing a filter or two. If you are searching your own collection and it is empty, you can switch to the whole database or import your games.
