Find expansions

Find expansions lists every official expansion you don’t have yet, for each game on your shelf. Promos and fan-made items are left out. You don’t need an account to try it.

Bring your collection

Is your Kallax.io collection empty? Enter your BoardGameGeek username and select Find my missing expansions. Your owned and wishlisted games are imported from BoardGameGeek. Large collections can take a few minutes, so keep the page open. Not signed in? Continue as a guest and register later to keep your collection.

Go through the checklist

Each game shows how many of its expansions you own, such as “3 of 5 owned”. Add a missing expansion to your wishlist, or mark it as owned, without leaving the page.
On the checklist you can:
  • Filter by game or expansion.
  • Tick Include wishlisted to also list expansions you have wishlisted.
  • See which of your friends own a missing expansion, under Owned by friends.
  • Use See checklist for … to look at a friend’s checklist instead of your own.
  • Share link or Download as CSV.

Collection timeline

The collection timeline shows when each game arrived on your shelf, year by year and month by month. Open Tools > Collection timeline in the main menu, or See the collection timeline on a friend’s profile to look at theirs. Timelines are only shared with friends. At the top you see the number of games in the collection, the days since the first game, the busiest month and how many games were added this year. On this day shows games that arrived on today’s date in earlier years.
Games without an acquisition date use the day you added them to Kallax.io. Enthusiasts can set the date in the Data editor. If you import from BoardGameGeek, a fresh BGG Import brings in the dates from BoardGameGeek.

Wallpaper

Tools > Wallpaper turns your screen into a wall of board game covers from your collection, and keeps your device from going to sleep while the tab is open. Pick the Folders to show, or All owned board games, choose whether to include Expansions and Dark mode, then select Start. Use Fullscreen for the best look. You need an account to pick your own games.
